Dr. Christoph Egle is the Managing Director at the bidt. Having held various positions in political science research at the Universities of Heidelberg, Frankfurt/Main and LMU Munich, Dr. Egle has now switched to scientific policy advice and science management. At the German National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech), he headed the Federal Government’s Innovation Dialogue office until 2018. Thereafter, he was head of the department for digital technologies in the Bavarian State Chancellery and the State Ministry for Digital Affairs before joining the bidt in June 2019.
