In general, significantly more men currently have an ICT qualification than women. However, a European comparison shows clear differences. While Greece and Serbia take the top position with a share of women of 23 % and 25%, the share of employed women with an ICT education degree in Germany as well as in the EU average is only about half as high at 15 % and 16 %.
