The collaborative event with the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs explores the topic of disinformation from interdisciplinary perspectives and outlines specific measures in the fight against misinformation and the protection of democracy.
Disinformation threatens democracy. The Global Risks Report from 2024 by the World Economic Forum (WEF) even sees misinformation and disinformation as the greatest risk of the next two election years. But how does the spread of disinformation through AI-supported technologies affect trust in politics and the media? What can we do together in the fight against disinformation? And how can we ultimately even use AI to counter disinformation?
The event, organised in cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs, will not only look at the downsides and potential risks, but also at concrete measures against disinformation and the opportunities that generative AI offers for our democracy. With this event, we want to inform and educate as well as create awareness for the topic and the ability to act across society.
Following the event, we invite you to a get-together and supporting programme.
Please note that the event will be held in German.
Registration is necessary.
