Eric Hilgendorf is a member of bidt’s Board of Directors. He is Chair of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Justice, Legal Theory, Information and Computer Science Law at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Hilgendorf, who was educated in philosophy and law, has been working for years on ethical and legal issues of digitalisation and technology regulation, also and especially in an international context.
