The Graduate Centre for doctoral candidates offers its members structured networking and further training in the field of digital transformation as well as financial support for their research work. In addition to access to events, courses and working groups at the bidt, doctoral students benefit from an interdisciplinary exchange with experts from science and society.
In 2026, up to 25 doctoral students will once again be accepted into the Graduate Centre. Participation includes a scholarship of 3,000 euros per year until the end of the doctoral project, for a maximum period of four years. Funding is made possible by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts (StMWK) as part of the Graduate Centre and is coordinated by bidt. Admission is planned for 1 May 2026.
