The German Society for Data Protection and Data Security (GDD) has honoured Dr Sarah Rachut with the Bernd Hentschel Prize 2024, the GDD’s science prize for young academics, for her dissertation “Fundamental Rights Realisation in Digital Contexts” at the 48th Data Protection Conference (DAFTA). Having already been recognised by Possible and Handelsblatt as a Young Leader in GovTech 2024 in the “Science & Civil Society” category, this is the second award she has received this year.
