Prof. Dr. Thomas Hess
Member of bidt's Board of Directors and the Executive Commitee | Director of the Institute for Digital Management and New Media, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität
Thomas Hess is a member of bidt’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. His research focuses on the digital transformation of companies and the management of media and IT companies. He is a professor of business informatics and business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, where he heads the Institute for Digital Management and New Media. He is also a Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities member and co-editor of specialist journals and textbooks. In addition, he is connected to practice through the Internet Business Cluster (IBC), among other things, and through a supervisory board mandate.
