
Dr. Severin Kacianka
PostDoc Researcher, Chair of Software Engineering | Technical University of Munich
Dr. Severin Kacianka is a PostDoc Researcher at the Chair of Software Engineering headed by Professor Pretschner. In his PhD thesis, he focused on accountability for Cyber-Physical Systems and showed how we can use the mathematics of causality to express and compare notions of accountability.
Additionally, he works on a joint project with the bidt where they investigate how to best embed ethical deliberation into the software development process.
Before joining the chair, he studied at the Alpen-Adria-University Klagenfurt in Austria where he received his Master’s degree with distinction. In his master’s thesis, he worked on video streaming for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) networks.
