Dr. Daria Kravets-Meinke

Dr. Daria Kravets-Meinke is a Researcher and a postdoc in the research focus “Humans and Generative AI: Trust in Co-Creation” at the bidt. She gained her doctorate in political communication at the University of Passau, where she worked as a research assistant in the ERC Consolidator project “The effects of digitalization on Russia’s informational influence abroad” (RUSINFORM). Kravets-Meinke studied journalism and communication science with a minor in computer science in her bachelor’s degree and political communication in her master’s degree at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, political communication and computer-aided research methods in communication science.

With the “Servus, AI!” series of dialogue, adult education centers, bidt, acatech, and the Learning Systems Platform are bringing citizens and experts together to discuss the opportunities and risks of AI.
AI in Journalism: The Impact of Generative AI on Objectivity and Dialogic Openness in Climate Debates
The project is investigating how AI in climate protection can help to increase the willingness to accept messages and promote an objective debate with counter-arguments.
