QPD-Module 2: Advanced Module
Qualitative research methods play a particularly important role in interdisciplinary digitalisation research. They capture the subjective perspectives, experiences and attributions of meaning of the actors involved and thus enable a deeper understanding of digital transformation processes.
This interactive workshop is aimed at researchers from non-social science disciplines who would like to familiarise themselves with qualitative methods. In addition to an overview of the relevance and potential of qualitative research, the focus will be on practical insights: How do you plan and conduct interviews? What pitfalls should be avoided? And how can qualitative data be analysed meaningfully and systematically?
Through a mixture of theoretical impulses, practical exercises and collegial exchange, the workshop offers initial insights into qualitative research – ideal for all those who want to better understand qualitative methods, gain initial methodological experience and integrate them into their research.
