At the two-day event, we will present current results from bidt research projects and discuss them with experts from science, politics, business and society.
Trust is the basis of human interaction and the invisible currency of our democratic society. While facial expressions, gestures and proximity, among other things, ensure trust in personal encounters, interaction in the digital world is characterised by algorithms, platforms and AI systems.
How is trust changing in an increasingly digital world? What happens when deepfakes manipulate our perception, fake news jeopardises democratic processes and artificial intelligence influences decisions in key areas of life such as medicine or justice? When is trust justified – and when is it perhaps even dangerous?
You can expect a varied programme with a wide range of thematic sessions, discussions and opportunities for interaction.
Further information and the opportunity to register will follow shortly.
