Kirsten Rulf

Kirsten Rulf is a partner at the Boston Consulting Group and advises clients worldwide on the use of generative AI. Until April 2023, she was Head of Unit for Digital Policy at the Federal Chancellery of Germany. Among other things, she was responsible for negotiating the EU legal framework for digital issues, e.g. the EU AI Act, Data Act, DSA. Previously, Rulf taught a course on AI and Compliance at Harvard Law School and was a Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. She currently teaches at Yale and is a UC Berkeley Tech Policy Fellow. She holds master’s degrees from Harvard and Oxford and was a 2022 Yale World Fellow. She is also a member of the international Advisory Board of the bidt.
