Inken Okrug

Inken Okrug is a Researcher at the bidt. After completing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in political science at the Universities of Greifswald and Bamberg, she worked as a research assistant at the Research Centre for Islam and Law in Europe at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). There, her research focused, among other things, on issues of social inequality. She subsequently completed further training to become a data scientist. She has been working at the bidt since April 2026 on the “Monitoring the digital work in Bavaria” project.
