
Prof. Dr. Patrick Noack

Prof. Dr. Patrick Noack studied agricultural sciences at the Technical University of Munich and then worked for several years in an engineering firm, where he was responsible for the development and sale of precision farming applications. In 2013, he accepted a professorship at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. His current teaching area is Information Technology and IoT in Agriculture and Environment. Professor Noack heads the Competence Centre for Digital Agriculture and is involved in various research projects on the subject of digitalization, including the bidt-funded Gredigree project.
