Brief description of the doctoral project
As part of my doctoral project “Normativity and the Design of Technology in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Anthropological and Ethical Foundations of Human Flourishing,” I investigate how technological artifacts are not merely tools but normatively effective mediations between humans and the world. The aim is to understand how technical systems shape our self-understanding, our capacities for action, and our value orientations. Building on a critique of the neutrality thesis, I develop a perspective that conceives of technology as a co-constitutive force in the formation of normative orders. My research combines philosophical reflection with societal relevance and contributes to an ethics of technology that unites normative clarity, anthropological depth, and practical applicability.
