Prof. Dr. Nils Urbach

Prof. Dr. Nils Urbach holds the Chair of Information Systems, in particular Digital Business & Mobility, and is the Director of the Research Lab for Digital Innovation & Transformation (ditlab) at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. He is also the Director of the FIM Research Institute for Information Management and the Business Informatics branch of the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT.
In his research and teaching, Nils Urbach focuses on issues in the areas of digitalisation and strategic IT management. His research focuses in particular on the investigation of the adoption, use and success of digital innovations and the derivation of design recommendations based on this, as well as the investigation and design of solutions for the management of IT organisations and digitalisation units.
