Brief description of my doctoral project
Assessment of psychological variables using passively collected data from everyday smartphone use (smart sensing) shows promosing potential for early detection of mental health risks. However, building population-scale predictive models still presents an unresolved challenge. I strive to deepen our understanding of associations between smart sensing variables and mental health, aiming to use these insights to finally build population-scale models for early detection of mental health risks. Data collection for these analyses is performed in the german center for mental health’s (DZPG) project SENSED-MH, assessing smart sensing and high-frequency brief questionnaires from 2500 participants from the general population.
