Markus Uhlmann’s research focuses primarily on the challenges of digitalisation. His current research focuses on the transformation of democratic public spheres and digital journalism. He is a member of the BMBF project “Demokratie-X: Analyse der Tragfähigkeit einer privatheitsschonenden, fair und gemeinwohlorientierten Plattform für Nachrichten”.
