The aim of my PhD project is to make image acquisition and analysis in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging faster and more effective. This can make a significant contribution to improving patient care and digital processes in healthcare. In particular, I am developing reconstruction methods based on neural networks to generate images of the highest possible quality from highly undersampled MRI images of the heart. In addition, I am working on automatic analysis methods, which could relieve physicians of considerable manual work in the future. In connection with the artificial intelligence methods used, questions of reliability and trust also play an important role.
