
Prof. Dr. Karl Hans Bläsius
Prof Dr Karl Hans Bläsius studied mathematics, physics and computer science at RWTH Aachen University and completed his doctorate in 1986 at the University of Kaiserslautern under Prof Jörg Siekmann on a topic in the field of artificial intelligence. After working at AEG, IBM and Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, he taught “Knowledge-Based Systems” in the Department of Computer Science at Trier University of Applied Sciences from 1990 to 2017. His research focussed on document analysis, with the results of these projects also being applied in practice through company start-ups. Now retired, he has set up the websites “Atomkrieg-aus-verstehen” and “ki-folgen”.
