Brief description of my doctoral project

This research project examines healthcare professionals’ acceptance of digital health technologies (DHT). It builds on a completed systematic review assessing global knowledge, attitudes, and practices toward AI‑assisted DHT. The current phase is a cross‑sectional study in Germany and internationally, comparing locally‑trained and foreign‑trained providers using KAP measures and UTAUT2 constructs. The study identifies determinants of behavioral intention, as well as barriers and facilitators to DHT use. Findings will support policymakers and stakeholders in planning effective digital transformation strategies and aligning training, infrastructure, and implementation efforts with the needs of diverse healthcare workforces.
