Brief description of my doctoral project
As organizations increasingly integrate AI, the way teams communicate, allocate roles, and make decisions is changing fundamentally. Team members vary significantly in how they perceive, accept, and use AI – with direct consequences for collaboration, psychological safety, and performance. In my dissertation, I examine what conditions enable humans and AI to collaborate effectively in knowledge-intensive teams, and how leaders can actively foster such conditions, particularly in global teams. The aim is to move beyond viewing AI as a mere tool and instead understand it as a teammate and rethink how teams work together.
