Prof. Dr. Christian P. Hoffmann is Professor of Communication Management at the Institute of Communication and Media Studies and of Political Communication at the Institute of Political Science at Leipzig University. Hoffmann is Academic Director of the Centre for Research in Financial Communication and Co-Director of the Centre for Digital Participation. His research focuses on strategic communication management, financial communication and political communication – with particular emphasis on the challenges and opportunities of new media.
