Carolin Bauerhenne

In my PhD, I am developing algorithms to digitize process scheduling in healthcare. My first project focuses on digital scheduling to ensure on-time appointments under challenging conditions. My second project sheds light on the assignment of patients to caregivers as well as route and appointment planning in home health care. Here, I am developing an efficient scheduling tool that ensures timeliness and quality patient care at the lowest possible cost. In the further course of my PhD, I plan to further contribute to the digitalization of various process planning with a focus on fairness aspects.
